Saint John police are investigating a reported assault on Germain Street in the city’s uptown.
On Aug. 2, a man allegedly threw a beverage at a 37-year-old woman and her two-year-old child.
A witness assisted the victims and the suspect was escorted from the scene before police were called.
The victims were not seriously hurt.
