Germain Street Open aims to raise $30K for L’Arche Saint John

Expect to see mini golfers around Uptown Saint John on Saturday, October 19.

Since 1994, the Germain Street Open has transformed Uptown Saint John into a vibrant “urban golf” course, navigating through residences, businesses, and offices, with proceeds supporting L’Arche Saint John.

L’Arche Saint John is a member of a global organization dedicated to establishing homes, programs, and support systems for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Chair Derrick Chassion announced that the team registration reached its capacity, and in celebration of the 30th anniversary, he is optimistic that the event will generate $30,000.

“We were aiming to have 30 teams which is going to be the Germain Street Open ever, and were successful in having 30 teams registered and there all out there fundraising right now,” said Chassion.

Donations can be made to the registered teams or directly to L’Arche Saint John.
