Break-in at Douglas Avenue business

Saint John police are investigating a break-in at a business on Douglas Avenue.

The incident happened sometime overnight between Oct. 16 and 17, according to police.

Surveillance video photos show a suspect in the building wearing dark-coloured clothing and carrying a duffel bag.

“It is believed that the suspect used tools to gain access to the money in multiple vending machines,” police said in a news release on Tuesday.

Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
