Holiday Smile Cookie campaign supports local charities, groups

A simple cookie can help local charities and community groups this holiday season.

The annual Holiday Smile Cookie campaign from Tim Hortons returned for its second year on Monday.

All proceeds are donated to local charities and community groups, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

Funds raised at most stores from St. George to Hampton are also supporting the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation’s “Lights of Hope” campaign.

Five stores, including all three in the Kennebecasis Valley, have partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saint John.

Funds raised in St. Stephen and Saint Andrews will help support the Santa’s Helpers telethon on CHCO-TV.

If you buy a cookie in Sussex, some of that money will go to the Sussex Rotary Club’s Coats for Kids Campaign.

The inaugural campaign raised a total of $9.8 million across the country in 2023.

Holiday Smile Cookies will be on sale until Nov. 24.
