Man killed in northwestern N.B. crash

An 18-year-old man has died after his vehicle crashed in northwestern New Brunswick.

First responders were called to the scene on Route 380 in New Denmark around 1:30 p.m. Friday.

“The crash is believed to have occured when the driver lost control of his vehicle, left the road and was ejected from the vehicle,” RCMP said in a news release on Monday.

The driver of the vehicle, who was from Drummond, later died in the hospital from his injuries.

Police are still piecing together the cause of the crash.
