Police are searching for a vehicle they say was involved in a hit-and-run with a pedestrian in Quispamsis.

It happened at Hampton Road and Pettingill Road around 6:25 p.m. Thursday, according to the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force.

“A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while in the crosswalk,” police said in a news release posted to social media.

There is no word on the extent of injuries, if any, that the pedestrian suffered during the incident.
