Majority of Canadians think Trump will hurt economy

Will Donald Trump’s second presidency be good for Canada?

A majority of Canadians in a new Narrative Research poll think our economy is going to be negatively impacted.

Sixty-three percent of respondents thought that way, 20 percent think Trump will help Canada.

Nearly half think Trump’s return to the Oval Office won’t have a good effect on the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, three in ten think it will have a positive effect.

On the issue of border security, respondents were mixed, 42 percent positive to 37 percent negative.

Canadians aged 18-24 were more in favour of Trump, those over 55 are more concerned.
