Gasoline prices up, diesel prices down in N.B.

There is mixed news at the fuel pumps after the weekly setting by the provincial regulator.

Gasoline prices rose by just over one cent on Thursday night.

Regular self-serve is now selling for a maximum of $1.68 per litre.

Diesel prices fell by around two cents to a new maximum of $1.95 per litre.

The price of heating oil remained nearly unchanged at $1.68 per litre.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve gasoline costs between $1.63 and $1.68 per litre, while diesel costs between $1.91 and $1.96 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.73 per litre, diesel costs around $2.01 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.44 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
