High school basketball finals return to Saint John

New Brunswick’s top high school basketball teams face off in Saint John this weekend.

The 2025 NBIAA Final 12 championships get underway Friday night at TD Station.

Six provincial titles are up for grabs with 12 teams from across the province hitting the court.

That includes the girls and boys teams from Rothesay High School, who are competing for the AAA titles.

The girls play École Mathieu-Martin at 1 p.m. and the boys face Fredericton High School at 3:30 p.m.

On Friday night, Woodstock and Miramichi Valley play in the AA girls final while Woodstock and École Saint-Anne go head-to-head in the AA boys final.

The A finals are on Saturday night as Fredericton Christian Academy takes on Southern Victoria in the girls final and Fredericton Christian Academy plays John Caldwell in the boys final.
