Armed robbery at Saint John convenience store

Saint John police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery at a lower west side business.

Officers responded to a convenience store on Ludlow Street at around 11:10 p.m. Saturday.

A suspect armed with a weapon entered the store and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He is described as being between 5’9″ and 6’0″ tall, was wearing a checkered jacket with a hood, and had a red bandana covering his face.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area who has video footage or surveillance of the incident.
