One person has died following a workplace incident at a cellular tower site in Riverview.
First responders were called to the scene on Coverdale Road late Monday morning.
WorkSafeNB confirmed to our newsroom that one person was killed.
“As the investigation is ongoing, we cannot release any further information at this time,” a spokesperson said in an email.
Riverview Fire Chief Robin True confirmed that his department responded to the incident but referred all other inquiries to Codiac Regional RCMP.
Mounties did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
