Exxon Mobil closing Moncton business support centre

Hundreds of people in Greater Moncton will soon be out of work.

Exxon Mobil has decided to close its business support centre in the city.

A company spokesperson said they expect the office will close by the end of 2026.

“We’ve decided to close our Moncton office as we focus on other global business centers,” Michelle Gray said in an email.

“This decision was not made lightly, and we thank the Moncton workforce for their dedication and service.”

Gray said around 250 employees work at the facility in Moncton and will be impacted by the closure.
