Speed limit reduced in Saint Andrews

Drivers in Saint Andrews will need to be aware of a couple of changes.

The speed limit on all urban streets has been reduced to 40 kilometres per hour from 50.

The town has also added a four-way stop at Prince of Wales Street and Sophia Street.

Council voted in favour of the changes in order to help slow traffic and improve safety for motorists and pedestrians.

Also, a reminder that Water Street is one-way between Elizabeth and Augustus streets through Oct. 20.
