Saint John Canada Day fireworks postponed

Bad news if you were hoping to check out the Canada Day fireworks in Saint John.

City officials announced Monday that the fireworks have been postponed due to the weather.

Environment Canada is calling for scattered showers and fog patches on Canada Day night.

The fireworks are now scheduled to take place as part of New Brunswick Day celebrations.

Other Canada Day activities will continue as planned. You can find a list of events happening throughout the region here.
