Malcolm-Jamal Warner, ‘Cosby Show’ star dies at 54

Malcolm-Jamal Warner, best known as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, has died at 54.

According to Costa Rican authorities, Warner drowned on Sunday, while swimming at Playa Grande de Cocles during a family vacation. He was caught in a strong current and could not be revived

Warner starred on the NBC sitcom from 1984 to 1992, earning an Emmy nomination in 1986. He continued acting in shows like Malcolm & Eddie and The Resident.
