Emergency exercise at Linde Canada in Saint John

Do not be surprised to see emergency vehicles in the Grandview Avenue area of Saint John on Wednesday.

Linde Canada Inc. is holding an emergency simulation exercise at its CO2 plant, located at 430 Grandview Avenue.

“During the training, multiple emergency and specialty vehicles as well as personnel dressed in specialized protective equipment will be on-site,” the city said in a news release.

“The public is advised not to be alarmed [and] to avoid the site during this time.”

The exercise will take place from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
