Saint John make 6 arrests in drug trafficking investigation

Six people have been arrested in a months-long drug trafficking investigation in Saint John.

Officers began their investigation in June and executed four search warrants on Wednesday.

They seized more than $60,000 worth of cocaine, crack cocaine and oxycodone during the searches.

Also seized was $55,000 in cash, a crossbow with arrows, bear spray, a baton, imitation firearms and ammunition.

A 47-year-old man and a 51-year-old man were held in custody for a bail hearing on Thursday.
