Labour Day weekend last chance to use Canada Strong Pass

Only a few more days left to get into national parks for free, with the Canada Strong Pass initiative winding down.

With the pass, the charge to get into any Parks Canada locations was waived, with an extra 25 per cent off on camping and overnight stays.

In July, the initiative expanded to include provincial and territorial museums and galleries.

Extra discounts for children and youth were also included.

Minister of Culture Steven Guilbeault says they wanted families to choose Canada this summer.

“Our government is making it easier for families to choose Canada as they make their summer plans and to enjoy the places and experiences that brings us together and make Canada strong,” says Guilbeault.

Nearly 90 institutions across the country were included in the program.

The Canada Strong Pass ends September 2.
