Brilliant Lady cruise ship visits Halifax for first North American stop

The Brilliant Lady cruise ship visited North America for the first time on the weekend.

The ship stopped in Halifax on Sunday, along with Sir Richard Branson.

He is the founder the Virgin group of companies, which includes Virgin Voyages.

The adults only ship can hold about 2500 people.

The ship heads to Saint John, New Brunswick, for Sept. 19.

And it comes back to Halifax later this month and in early October.
