Jimmy Kimmel is about to make a comeback.
According to various sources, ABC issued a statement on Monday, confirming the popular late-night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! will return to the airwaves on Tuesday.
The Walt Disney Company says that after Kimmel made comments that they feel were “ill-timed” and “insensitive”, they have since reversed course on that decision.
“We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show, Tuesday,” says the statement.
Kimmel show was cancelled indefinitely, one week ago, after making comments about Charlie Kirk on September 15.
Kirk was a right-wing Conservative and an ally of United States President Donald Trump, who was shot and killed at an event at a Utah campus earlier this month.
