Road construction season rolls along in Saint John region

As October gets going, there’s more road construction set to begin around Greater Saint John.

Gateway Operations announced milling operations will begin Oct. 2 on Route 1.

The work will be in the eastbound lane beginning near the Dolan Road Irving in Rothesay.

Gateway advised motorists to expect delays, particularly during the evening rush hour, as the highway will be reduced to one lane while crews complete the work.
