More motorists crossed Confederation Bridge to PEI in August

More people crossed the Confederation Bridge between New Brunswick and PEI in August.

Data from Tourism PEI shows trip numbers were up almost 25 per cent that month, compared to the same month in 2024.

The number of people who boarded the ferry between Nova Scotia and PEI also increased by the same amount.

Bridge tolls dropped to $20 on August 1st. The price to cross by boat was also reduced by 50 per cent.
