Blue Jays advance to first World Series in 32 years

The Toronto Blue Jays are going to the World Series.

The Blue Jays beat the Seattle Mariners 4-3 in Game 7 to win the American League Pennant.

It’s the first World Series appearance for the Jays since 1993.

Things were looking bleak in the seventh inning, as the Mariners held a 3-1 lead.

That’s when George Springer stepped up to the plate and crushed a three-run home-run to give Toronto the lead.

Chris Bassitt and Jeff Hoffman retired the next six batters as the Jays held on.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was named ALCS MVP.

They’ll face the LA Dodgers in the Fall Classic, Game 1 is Friday night in Toronto.
