Deal reached for N.B. Crown counsel

A new collective agreement for those working in areas including legal and legislative services within the Office of the Attorney General.

This includes around 50 lawyers represented by the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada.

They reached a new deal with the government on Friday.

It includes a general wage increase of 14.5 per cent over five years, retroactive to October 1, 2023, and a 16 percent resourcing adjustment effective August of this year.

All collective agreements with the provincial government are available online.
