One week from today Acadia Broadcasting in Saint John will be participating in the 7th annual Love Your Hospital Radiothon.
The 12-hour event takes place at Saint John Regional Hospital as it looks to raise a lot of money for its Clinic 1 upgrades.
Canaport LNG has already stepped up to the plate by announcing it will match donations up to $100,000, and General Manager Javier Azagra says they are pleased to be part of the project.
Azagra says this being the 10th anniversary for Canaport they really wanted to help out. Canaport has already given the community in Saint John $4.1 million in support.

Jeff McAloon CEO and President of the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation says Canaport LNG has already raised $4.1 million for the community and they are pleased to have the matching donation.
He says ” Folks love to know that a $50 donation becomes a 100 and then $100 becomes $200, Canaport has supported this community for the 10 years they have been here and this is the largest single gift they have ever made so were are incredibly grateful.”
