Community Free Store returns with free goods and art

A local group announced its Community Free Store will open again this December, offering free items and entertainment for residents

The Saint John Community Coalition confirmed the third annual event will be held at Stone Church, 87 Carleton Street, from noon to 4 p.m.

Organizers explained that visitors can pick up clothing, food and household items while enjoying live music and art.

They add that there is no registration required, and anyone is welcome to attend.

The coalition says donations of non‑perishable food and personal consumables are being accepted at the Saint John City Market near the Charlotte Street entrance until November 29.

Organizers are also seeking volunteers, artists and community groups to take part.

Those interested can contact the coalition at info@sjcommunity.ca.
