A 60-year-old man from the Bathurst area has died after being hit by a vehicle on New Year’s Eve.
RCMP responded to the crash on Route 315 in Tremblay shortly after 11 p.m. on Monday night.

Police believe the man was walking along the road towards his home when he was hit by a car travelling toward him.
He died at the scene from his injuries while the driver of the car was not hurt.
