Would-Be Thief Nabbed In East End Saint John

A would-be thief was nabbed by the Saint John K-9 unit Sunday night in the east end of the city.

Police got calls about suspicious activity on Belgrave Street and upon arrival found a man going through vehicles looking for items.

He then took off on foot but the K-9 unit tracked him down and he will be facing theft charges at a later date.

Saint John Police say they did recover a number of items and if you are missing something from your vehicle and you live in that area, give them a call.
