In Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action:
The Saint John Sea Dogs downed the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 5-1 for their third straight win.
Maxim Cajkovic had a pair of goals for the Sea Dogs, while Charlie DesRoches, Nicholas Deakin-Poot and William Poirier also scored.
In junior hockey action:
The St. Stephen Aces fell to the Campbellton Tigers 3-2 in overtime.
Noah Holm and Everett Hicks scored for St. Stephen.
In the NHL:
Carey Price earned his third shutout of the season as Montreal beat Colorado 3-0.
Toronto fell to Boston 3-2 for their third loss in the last four games.
Elsewhere, Ottawa fell to San Jose 4-1, Edmonton lost to Arizona 3-2, the Rangers edged the Islanders 2-1, and New Jersey downed Philadelphia 3-2.
In the NFL playoffs:
Kansas City beat Indianapolis 31-13 in the divisional round to reach the AFC title game.
Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Rams downed Dallas 30-22 to move on to the NFC title game.
In ACAA basketball:
The UNB Saint John women beat Holland College 78-50.
Kathryn Magee had 16 points for the Seawolves while Sophie Sharp added 10 points.
In the men’s game, Steven Ryan had a game-high 21 points for UNB Saint John, but it was not enough as they lost to Holland College 108-91.
