Sunday Morning Sports For February 3rd

In Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action:

The Saint John Sea Dogs fell to Blainville-Boisbriand 5-1.

Brady Burns had the lone goal for Saint John in their eighth straight loss.

Next action for the Sea Dogs is Saturday night when they host Charlottetown.

 

In the NHL:

Jack Roslovic had his first career hat trick in Winnipeg’s 9-3 win over Anaheim.

The Jets scored a franchise-record six goals in the first period.

Elsewhere, Vancouver downed Colorado 5-1, Toronto edged Pittsburgh 3-2, Edmonton fell to Philadelphia 5-4 in overtime, Montreal lost to New Jersey 3-2 in OT, and Detroit blanked Ottawa 2-0.

 

In ACAA basketball:

The UNB Saint John women downed Dal AC 79-35.

Hanna Grossman had a game-high 17 points for the Seawolves.

Elsewhere, Keegan Gray scored a game-high 19 points as the UNB Saint John men beat Dal AC 89-80.
