Curling Club Suffers Damage After Fire

The second floor of the Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club suffering heavy fire damage after a blaze earlier tonight. Fire crews got the call just before 7 and had to break into the structure to get to the origin of the fire in a kitchen area upstairs.

District Fire Chief Gerald Green tells CHSJ News the cause is not suspicious but, fire investigators are on the scene. The force of the water blew out a portion of the building’s wall. No one was hurt in the fire.
