Dawn Lorraine Olsen

September 27, 1960  –  December 14, 2025

It is with profound sadness that the family of Dawn Lorraine Olsen announces her passing in Saint John, NB, at the age of 65 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 27th 1960, Dawn was the daughter of William and Dorothy Fulton.

Dawn dedicated the past 20 years of her working life to Canadian Tire West, where she was known for her strong work ethic and her genuine care for customers. She truly loved connecting with people and took great pride in helping those she served. A true lover of the outdoors, Dawn could most often be found camping or at the gun range whenever the opportunity arose. Nature brought her peace and joy. When she could not escape to the outdoors, she created that same warmth at home, gathering around a bonfire in her backyard. Baking was another cherished pastime of Dawn’s when she had the chance, and it was something she truly excelled at. Dawn will be remembered for her kindness, her love of family, and her ability to make others feel welcome and valued. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Dawn will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Dorothy Fulton, her sister, Lori Savoie (Paul), her sons, Andrew Olsen and Shane Stokes (Trish), her grandchildren; Brady, Emmy and Maddy Stokes, her sister-in-law, Debbie Fulton, her three nieces, her nephew, her great nieces, great nephews, her brother in law Bill (Diane) Olsen; Loretta Diamond step daughters Kelly (Mark) Thompson and stepdaughter Tracy (Paul) St Coeur along with many friends and all who had the pleasure of meeting Dawn.

She was predeceased by her father, William Fulton, her loving husband, Bernie, her brother, Tony Fulton, her mother-in-law Mary Ann Olsen; sister-in-law Andrea Bennett and brother-in-law Harold Diamond.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) Visiting will take place at Brenan’s Funeral Home on Saturday, December 20th from 2:00-5:00 PM. A Celebration of Dawn’s Life will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home on Sunday, December 21st, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel.

Donations in Dawn’s memory may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
