It is with broken hearts that the family of Jody Rae Moir announces her sudden passing on December 17, 2025, in Saint John, NB at the age of 45 years.
Born on October 20, 1980, Jody was full of light and love, she had the ability to brighten up any room she walked into. Though her life wasn’t easy, Jody always tried her best to provide for her family and made sure her family knew that she loved them. My mama was my best friend. I was her safe place. Our love and bond is so strong and unbreakable. I will love my mom until the day I die. I will be your voice mom; I will be your defender and protector. I know you’re here with me in my heart and watching over me, your other children and my baby Ryder as our Angel. My mom had a beautiful soul; she was the strongest and bravest woman I knew. Anybody that knows my mom knows she didn’t have an easy path, and she went through hell in her life. She was wild and would light up a whole room with her presence. My mom was real, honest, and raw and she loved hard. We all know my mom’s heart belongs to her four children and her grandson Ryder.
Mom, I love you and I miss you like crazy! My heart is broken. Mom loved killer whales, shrimp, Chinese food and the color blue. Anyone that knew my mom knew she had a good heart, a beautiful heart, she would do anything for anyone she loved. Jody had a special love for animals, especially cats and music, Mariah Carey being one of her favorite artists. The world seems a bit dimmer now that she’s gone. I’m very grateful to everyone that tried to help and support my mom over the years throughout her life.
Jody will be lovingly remembered by her son, Michael Moir, her daughters; Melanie Moir, Britney Moir and Emily Moir-Chase her grandson, Ryder Ashton Rae Moir-Wiebe and the father of her children, Keith Dempster whom she loved dearly.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
