October 19, 1945 – December 30, 2025
With many broken hearts and much sadness, we announce the passing of a wonderful person, Catherine “Cathy” Martha (Rogers) Manuel, on December 30, 2025 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Cathy was born on October 19, 1945 to the late Joe and Rose (Robichaud) Rogers. She was also predeceased by her other family members, Bob (Mary), James, John (Shirley), Shirley (Reg), Charles (Leona), Harry (BIL) and Lisa (DIL).
Cathy leaves behind her life long partner Cindy; Cathy’s four children Vincent, Brian (Melissa), Jacqueline and Allan (Paulette); seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Whitney, Nikki, Katelynn, Samantha, Natasha and Vincent Jr., eight great-grandchildren, Makayla, Michael, Serenity, Amon, Devyn, Andi, Aurora, Rio; sister, Rose Marie, Dot (SIL), several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Cathy was a taxi driver for over 20 years, an Ad mail worker, bricklayer and a post-office worker for 28 years. She supported her family through many years of hard work. Above all, Cathy was a devoted and loving Mom, Gram, Great-Gram and Partner.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) where visitation will take place on January 5 and 6, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral Liturgy will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on January 7 at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow.
Donations in memory of Cathy may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
