It is with great sadness the family of Ernest “Ernie” Gallant share his passing on December 11, 2025, at Bobby’s Hospice.
Born November 1, 1957, Ernie was a proud, devoted, loving father to his daughter Dawn (Shawn); exceptionally loving Grampy to Alyssa (Ryland), Kyle (Alexandra), and Spencer (Shyanna), and precious great Grampy to Lily. He also had sons Christopher (Gayle) and Blair. He was survived also by his beloved brother Lloyd (Patricia). He will be missed by all who knew our “gentle giant”.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Vicky, both parents Lillian and Henry, his infant son Michael, and brother Robert.
Ernie was a long-time member of Canada Post, where he retired from after 31 years. He loved hockey, Sci-Fi, cooking, roaring bonfires and a good BBQ. Most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
At Dad’s request, no viewing will take place.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel.
