Saint John Reflections — Photography by Andrew Miller

Recently, Krista has been delighted to see amazing photos of Saint John popping up in her feed. Earlier in January, she reached out to Andrew Miller to compliment him on his extraordinary photos and ask permission to share some of them here on the community portal.

Not only are Andrew’s pictures breathtaking, so are the descriptions that he posts with them. Proud to be a lifelong advocate of Saint John, it’s easy to see this reflected in what he shares – visually and verbally.

From January 5, 2026:

I took this photo of Trinity Church uptown on a cold, quiet night, and it had me reflecting and appreciating the strength of what endures. ❄️⛪️

So much has changed around it over the years: the streets, the buildings, the people, the pace of life. And yet, it stands firm. Solid. Grounded. Unmoved by trends or time.

Our past matters. It is the foundation that allows everything else to rise. When we respect it, protect it, and build with it and not over it’s than that we don’t dim progress; rather we strengthen it.

Trinity Church doesn’t compete with its surroundings. It enhances them. By staying true to what it is, it gives the whole space more character, more meaning, and more beauty. ✨

There’s a lesson in that for cities and for people alike.

Change is inevitable, and strong roots are essential for growth. 🌱

  • Krista has worked for Country 94 since Jan 2015 and is currently your host for the LIVE ON THE DRIVE with Krista, Monday through Friday 3-6 pm. What does Krista love about country music? EVERYTHING! She loves interviewing artists like Dean Brody, Tim Hicks, Lindsay Ell, going to concerts and dancing in the control booth on King St.

If you ask Krista her ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE thing, though, about country radio, the answer is the connection with you, the listener. The friendships made over the years with our listeners is second to none.
