Margo Eileen (Hughes) Moore, wife of the late Donald Moore, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026. Born in Saint John on August 26, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Marjorie Hughes.
Margo retired from the Saint John Regional Hospital where she worked as a supervisor in Environmental Services for many years. She enjoyed her home and working on her family’s genealogy and scrapbooking.
Margo will be lovingly remembered by her son, Timothy (Sherri) and granddaughters, Shyanne and Gabrielle, her brother, Burton Hughes, her sister, Helen Bérubé, her brothers-in-law, Willard Lawrence and Carl Laubman, her sister-in-law, Debra (Alan) Whitebone along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Richard, Cyril, Brian, David and Peter, her sisters, Beverly Laubman, Marilyn Lawrence and Janet Kerr.
Her nieces, Heather Mersereau and Nancy Davis would like to thank our Aunties caregivers, especially Shannon and all the Doctors and Nurses from the Saint John Regional and St. Joseph’s Hospital for the wonderful care they gave to her.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). A private family Interment will take place in the spring at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
