So, within the past 24 hours, I’ve noticed a few things. I took the dog for a walk out near the Q-Plex in Quispamsis and found a shoe on the trail! On my garbage box at home, a dog collar and this morning when I got here to work on King street, Uptown saint John, a jacket was abandoned on the sidewalk. Hopefully, in all these occurrences, everything is ok and it’s a case of forgetfulness.
In any case, there is a bus company in the U.K that, posts an annual list of items passengers have left behind. From an estimated 3000 forgotten items, here are some of the more interesting;
First, the common stuff; Keys, Wallets, Glasses, Phones
64 people left their passport behind and almost 100 forgot their canes (you hope It was because of some kind of miracle!)
Also left behind, a Canoe, a Closet, a Fridge, a Microwave, Lawn-Trimming equipment, Easy-Bake Oven
Weirder still, False teeth, Frying pans, a personal massager, Stethoscope, a canvas painting of The Ten Commandments, Large Box of Hair-Nets, a Drawing of a crowd of people flippin’ the bird, a purple Kettle-Bell AND an an Urn containing someone’s ashes (oh no, we left gramma on the bus!)
