It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lloyd Thomas Worden (Tommy) on January 28, 2026. Tommy was born on August 29, 1936 in Hoyt Station. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his four daughters: Theora (Lynda) Worden, Holly Glennie (Mark), Betty-Ann Arsenault (Marc), and Cindy Worden (Paul Conrod).

He was a cherished “Pappy” to his grandchildren: Caillee Worden (Craig), Rebecca Worden, Mitchell Glennie (Megan), Jocelyn Glennie, Elizabeth Smith, and Shania Worden-Conrod; and a proud great-grandfather to Natalia Hebert, Gabriel Crawford, Lyla Worden, and Miles Glennie.

Tommy is also survived by his sister-in-law Lois Worden, brothers-in-law Gary Logan (Carol) and Peter Logan (Christine), as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Lynn (Logan) Worden, his parents Archibald and Hilda (Byers) Worden, and all of his siblings: Willard, Norman, Edward, George, Clyde, Douglas, Bernice Melvin, Rose Densmore, Alberta Knorr, and Beverly Shannon.

Throughout his life, Tommy held a variety of occupations — from cooking in a lumber camp, to owning and operating his own sawmill and Uncle Tom’s Hardwood Company. He was a skilled carpenter and builder, known for his hard work and craftsmanship.

A passionate gardener, Tommy shared his knowledge freely and filled the tables of his family and friends with an abundance of fresh vegetables every summer. He was also a master with a chainsaw—winning numerous competitions and creating carved works of art that continue to be treasured by those who knew him.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Kindred Home Care workers for their exceptional care, especially Donna McCollum and Shelby Erjavec who were like family to him.
