With broken hearts, the family of Steven Moore, beloved husband of Taylor Buckley, announce his unexpected passing, which occurred on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born June 6, 1994, in Saint John, he was a son of Wayne Best (Joline) and Tanya Moore (Francis).
Steven will always be remembered for being funny and for his love of making others laugh. He loved deeply, and was always there to help anyone who needed it.
Besides his parents and his wife, Steven is survived by his daughter, Bianca Hatfield; sister, Mya Moore-Spears (Curtis); brothers: Tyler Moore (Kenzie), Nicholas Spears, and Alexander Golden; nephew, Samuel; Niece, Tyanna; grandmothers: Marie Best (Clifford) and Christine Walton; aunts, Sharon Best and Beth Burke (Donald); as well as many cousins.
Steven was predeceased by his grandfathers, Wayne Best and Roger Moore; aunts, Lisa Best-Manuel and Tracy Best; and his cousin, Josh Best.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424), where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2025, at 4 pm, with visitation being held from 2 pm until service time.
For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
