Saint John Reflections — Photography by Andrew Miller

Recently, Krista has been delighted to see amazing photos of Saint John popping up in her feed. Earlier in January, she reached out to Andrew Miller to compliment him on his extraordinary photos and ask permission to share some of them here on the community portal.

Not only are Andrew’s pictures breathtaking, so are the descriptions that he posts with them. Proud to be a lifelong advocate of Saint John, it’s easy to see this reflected in what he shares – visually and verbally.

From February 1, 2026:

Thirteen years ago, on the way home from hockey practice, the kids heard whispers about a giant snowman / snow fort someone had built in Rockwood Courts. So of course… we detoured.

This is where we ended up climbing, laughing, exploring, still in hockey gear, still full of energy after a game. Moments like this are why I’ve always tried to be an involved parent. My phone at games, playgrounds, and random adventures was never about distraction for me it was about preservation. Capturing the fleeting, muddy, snowy, chaotic magic of childhood before it slipped past us.

Looking back now, I feel incredibly blessed to have a huge collection of digital memories like this. Not staged. Not perfect. Just real life, real joy, and kids growing up faster than you ever expect.

If you love Saint John, I’d highly recommend following Andrew on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/AndrewJosephMiller

  • Krista has worked for Country 94 since Jan 2015 and is currently your host for the LIVE ON THE DRIVE with Krista, Monday through Friday 3-6 pm. What does Krista love about country music? EVERYTHING! She loves interviewing artists like Dean Brody, Tim Hicks, Lindsay Ell, going to concerts and dancing in the control booth on King St.

If you ask Krista her ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE thing, though, about country radio, the answer is the connection with you, the listener. The friendships made over the years with our listeners is second to none.
