Recently, I helped a friend clean out their house and get it ready to be put on the market. Up until then, we all jokingly referred to them as an “organized-hoarder” Once we started going through the place, we soon realized how extensive the “hoarder” part was. Multiple items like; dozens of radios, clothing that has gone in and out of style 5 times, containers that have not contained anything since the 80’s, tools that haven’t fixed anything for decades and so much more. After boxes and boxes of items donated and the worst stuff tossed (filled a dumpster), we finally finished, cleaned up and collapsed from exhaustion. I’ll tell you though, since then, I’ve looked at my own place differently as well as everybody else’s place too! We’re about 5 1/2 weeks away from spring, however, this recent endeavor has me getting into spring cleaning mode early. If I have not used it or worn it for awhile, I don’t need it, but, mabye someone does.
Please support all the great organizations in the greater Saint John area, It’ll make you feel good (once the sneezing from the dust stops!)
