March 5, 1963 – February 8, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our father, Donald Lloyd Fall, on February 8th, 2026.
From the moment he arrived on March 5th, 1963, Fallsey was always on the move and always at full speed. Whether tearing around Red Head, rafting down rushing rapids, sailing with Kent Line through the Caribbean, or driving one of his countless jeeps, exploring every road from here to anywhere, including every “I think it can make it” backwoods trail.
Our dad loved the open road, and we were lucky enough to share countless road trips simply because he wanted to “go for a drive.” The best part was riding shotgun, being the DJ, singing the whole way, and turning it up extra loud whenever Prince came on of course. While he may not have been a Parrot Head, he had a soft spot for Jimmy Buffett’s “It’s My Own Damn Fault.” He wore it proudly on his favourite hat, and the sentiment fit him perfectly as he met life on his own terms, with his own rules, and always steered his own course.
Survived by his mother, Arlene Fall; his daughters, Amanda Morrell (Kevin Dunwoody) and Julianna Martin (Matt Lewis); and his two grandsons, Cooper and Wyatt Morrell, who brought him endless pride. And, as an animal lover, we’d be remiss not to mention his love for his beloved grand‑cats / dogs.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles (Bob) Lloyd Fall, and his sister, Diana Fall.
We would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Dialysis Unit staff for their exceptional care and compassion, and to the wonderful team at Bobby’s Hospice for their kindness. We also extend our deepest gratitude to his lifelong friend, Mark Kerr, for his unwavering friendship, help, and support throughout the years.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). There will be no services at this time. Donations in Dad’s honor may be made to the Saint John SPCA, Bobby’s Hospice, or to a charity close to your heart.
