So, going through some old photos at my mother’s place last week and came upon a pic of this guy. Now, as an adult, Its obviously a piece of sculpted art, BUT, when I was a small child and my parents posed me in front of it for a pic, I balled my eyes out. It was the most frightening thing I’d ever seen. I just went through the area near Sussex a while ago and he’s still there even though the park (Animal-land) is no more.
oh, I also just learned that his name is “Blow-hard, the Horse”
So, thanks for some sleepless nights, “Blow-hard”… that is until I ended up seeing the movie “Jaws” when I was 10 ! (but that’s a whole other story)
