I noticed this morning on my special calendar, that, on this date in 1937, In San Diego they successfully tested the “Flying-car”. It’s something that’s been joked about for years, comedians saying “When the heck are we gonna get the flying’ cars?” Well, turns out we’ve been able to make them for almost 90 years now. So, why doesn’t everyone have one or two in their driveway? I was contemplating that this morning when I was driving to work and that’s when I noticed one guy in front of me on the highway, weaving in and out of traffic. Then, in the parking lot, someone driving all over spots and making the rest of us stop and wait to see where they were going. all of that chaos on one level plane, but imagine If we were flying, you’d have crazy drivers coming at you in every possible direction. Towns and cities would have to hire air-traffic controllers! So for now, I think I’m fine with me and my Ford Escape on the ground.
