The walking can be treacherous in Uptown Saint John with a lot of ice on the sidewalks.

Six of the city’s thirteen sidewalk plows are currently not in service because of maintenance or repairs.
Because of this, the City says efforts to clear, salt and sand the sidewalks are reduced.
