New Info About ATM Theft

Mounties are releasing a bit more info about an ATM theft at a business in southwestern New Brunswick.

Police say an intrusion alarm brought them to the Esso gas station on Route 175 in Pennfield around 2:45 a.m. Friday.

Investigators have said the type of ATM involved is a smaller, portable version.

Police have not said how many people may have been involved but did release one suspect description.

The individual is described as having a thin build with their face covered.

They were wearing a white hooded sweater with a dark graphic on the back and winter boots with reflective trim.

Anyone with information is asked to contact St. George RCMP at (506) 755-1130 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
