It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christine Yolanda Rankin, who passed away on February 28, 2026, in Saint John, New Brunswick. Christine was born on April 15, 1966, in Toronto, Ontario, and lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and love for the simple joys that brought people together.
Christine was known for her vibrant spirit and kind heart. She had a deep love for shopping, spending time with friends and family, and enjoyed relaxing games of pool. Music was also a big part of her life, and she found happiness in listening to her favorite songs and sharing them with those around her. Her laughter and presence brightened the rooms she entered, and she will be remembered for the joy she brought to others.
Christine will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Kenneth Votour, Brenda Anderson, Joanne Robinson, John Rankin, Thomas Rankin and Sandra Rankin, her best friend of 23 years, Darlene Hazlewood and all those who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone whose lives she touched.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Shirley Rankin and her sister, Carol Hawkes
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, New Brunswick, (506 634-7424). A Celebration of Christine’s life will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 9th, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
