There’s more bad news at the gas pumps across the province.
According to a source, the Energy and Utilities Board will use the interrupter clause, sending the price of gas and diesel up.
The price of regular self-serve gas is expected to go up six or seven cents, pushing the maximum price to about $1.70 per litre.
It’s predicted diesel will jump seven to eight cents, pushing the maximum price as high as $2.24 a litre.
