The Iranian community in Saint John, through NB Persia, is organizing a memorial gathering to honor the memory of more than 35,000 innocent Iranians who were recently killed by the current dictatorial regime in Iran, and to stand in support of freedom and human rights.
This gathering will take place on Saturday, March 21, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Saint John City Hall. The event also coincides with Nowruz, the Persian New Year, a time traditionally associated with renewal, hope, and unity.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
Please join us on March 21 at Saint John City Hall and stand with the Iranian community in remembering those who lost their lives and supporting the voices calling for freedom.
